Our story
HomeFlex was born in Palo Alto in 2020 with a simple idea: finding a home for a few months should not be complicated.
We built a platform that connects people with furnished, move-in-ready homes that can be booked online, removing much of the friction of traditional renting.
What began as a simpler way to manage flexible stays became an international network of homes and hosts. Today, after more than 10,000 operations across different markets, we are still building the same experience: find a place, book it, and feel at home from day one.
An idea built to move
2020 · The beginning
From our first office at 799 Seale Ave in Palo Alto, we set out to serve the space between multi-year leases and short stays.
2021–2022 · The network
The local solution grew with hosts ready to welcome students, professionals, families, and people in transition, even before meeting in person.
2023 · Fully online
Searching, choosing, booking, paying, and arriving became one digital experience, with every step recorded and support available.
2024–2025 · Expansion
The network expanded across Latin America, North America, and European cities while keeping global processes and local support.
