How is the amount calculated?
It’s the listed monthly price. Depending on the option you choose, today you pay the full month with 10% off, or half of the first month with a 10% surcharge.
We keep the math simple on purpose: today’s payment is never more than one month, whether you stay one month or twelve. Utilities and building fees are already included in the monthly price.
Here’s an example for a studio listed at US$ 900 per month, with expenses included:
- Pay in full: US$ 810 today (10% off) and no remaining balance.
- 50/50: the first month becomes US$ 990 with the 10% surcharge; you pay US$ 495 today and US$ 495 as the remaining balance.
- Following months: US$ 900 each, coordinated with the host.
You’re charged in the same currency you see on screen. If you view prices in Uruguayan pesos, you’ll be charged in Uruguayan pesos.
If you can pay the full month, it’s the better option: you get 10% off. The other two options are for people who prefer to pay less today.
